TEHRAN, December 4 - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi reiterated that the country would not negotiate about its defense and missile programs.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “No doubt that Iran resists sufficiently against certain fields, including missile and defense programs and it is Iran’s right to pursue its policies. These issues are not negotiable,” he said.
Qassemi made the remarks after French President Emmanuel Macron has claimed that talks with Iran is necessary to reduce its defense capability.
“French officials and officials of other countries speaking of Iran’s issues should closely consider deep developments happened in the region over past decades and many differences between present and past situation.”
“They should analyze issues with more precision in their words since the Islamic Republic of Iran will never negotiate about defense and missile issues.”
