Tehran, YJC. The Quran exhibition in Tehran has a section for the introduction of converts. This year the name of Will Smith is seen listed as a convert in this section.
Fars
news agency reports that in the Quran Exhibition, held in Tehran each year,
there is a section for the introduction of newly converted people from all over
the world.
The
section which is named "Rahyaftegan” [meaning "the introduced” in English]
presents pictures and biographies of people who have recently converted to Islam.
This
year one of the figures that have attracted much attention as a convert is the American
actor, producer, and rapper Will Smith.
Will
Smith had said in 2001 after playing Muhammad Ali that what had remained for
him after playing in the role had been an understanding of Islam and God.
Smith
used to keep a Quran and a praying cloth in his room.
The
news of his conversion made gossips a few times but was never approved.
If this is true then الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ for him being among the rightly guided but if otherswise, I'd implore that we are sure of our sources before spreading information which would be termed as rumours from the Muslims. السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
