Tehran, YJC. The President of Tunisia has exchanged views on regional developments with Rouhani in a phone call.

The President of Tunisia Moncef Marzouki made a phone call
to the Iranian President-elect Hassan Rouhani on Saturday afternoon to discuss
regional developments.
Marzouki congratulated Rouhani for his election and
expressed his willingness to help regional peace.
The President-elect Hassan Rouhani in turn said "All Islamic
countries must try to prevent war, conflict, and bloodshed among the Muslim,
and accordingly Iran will do its best.”
He asserted "I hope that developments in Egypt turn out to gratify
people’s interests. Of course whatever decision that the people of Egypt make
will be admired by all.”
The Tunisian President also said "We are also concerned with
conflict and bloodshed in Egypt and will try, side by side others, to help
peace return to Egypt and other Islamic countries.”
Rouhani then expressed happiness over the two countries’ growing relations on various
levels and said that as the Islamic Republic of Iran knows no limit for
cooperation with Tunisia, the 11th administration will try to
improve mutual bonds.
