Tehran, YJC. -- During recent week transactions in Iran Mercantile Exchange, more than 505,000 MT of various types of commodities was traded with the total value of 8,000 (3.2 billion USD) billion IRR in 3 main trading floors.
According to the report from IME International affairs and PR, during recent week more than 302,000 MT of metals and mines was traded with the total value of 4,022 billion IRR (1.60 billion USD) which shows 8 percent increase comparing to the traded volume of its prior week.
52 percent increase in IME aluminum trade value
127,000 MT of steel products was traded in IME such as 150,000 MT of Iron Ore, 16,000 MT copper products, 8,560 MT of aluminum products, 120 MT of molybdenum concentrate and 12 MT of precious metals concentrate. Aluminum products experience 49 percent in volume and 52 percent increase in value. Trade volume for copper products also had a 39 percent increase.
In the IME trading floor for oil and petrochemical products, more than 51,000 MT of polymer products and 52,000 MT of different types of bitumen were traded. Moreover, the volume and value of traded products in this trading ring has grown respectively 11 and 10 percent comparing to its former week.
Finally agricultural trading floor was the host for trade of more than 1,000 MT of maize and 63 MT of wheat with the total value of 8 billion IRR (3.2 million USD).
