TEHRAN, November 19 - Head of Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation (IMIDRO) Board Mehdi Karbasian said that Iran is going to export 8 million tons of steel by the end of the current calendar year (which ends on March 20, 2018).
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - He said that Iran has exported 4.7 million tons of steel in the first six months of this year (started on March 20, 2017) and is going to increase the amount to 8 million tons by the end of this year.
Iran has held talks with foreign insurance companies including Sace, Euler Hermes and other large insurance companies in the world which have agreed to work with Iran through guaranteed investment funds, he said.
Iran has also held talks with South Korea, China, Denmark and other countries and signed agreements as well, Karbasian noted.
Iran is also in talks with Italy, Germany and France on providing finance, he continued.
