TEHRAN, November 15 - Iran and Austria are going to establish a joint chamber of commerce in a bid to develop bilateral economic ties.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) -The decision was made after a meeting between Chairman of Iranian Chamber of Commerce Gholam-Hossein Shafei and Austrian Ambassador to Iran Stefan Scholz.
An economic delegation comprising of 200 Austrian economic activists visited Iran after Iran’s 2015 nuclear deal with P5+1 and in response Iran sent back an economic delegation to Austria with 120 industrial and economic activists.
Iran mainly sells crops, food stuff, dairy, fruit and vegetables, herbal medicine, eggs, dates, hand-woven carpets, chemicals and raw minerals to Austria.
Austria exports industrial machinery, home appliances, railroad equipment, power plant equipment, antibiotics and construction material to Iran.
