TEHRAN, November 14 - 441,401 MT of commodities worth over $259 million were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange over the first week of November.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 106,175 MT of various products worth close to $96.8 million were traded.
On this trading floor, 101,846 MT of steel products, 9 MT of precious metals concentrates as well as 4,240 MT of copper, 80 MT of molybdenum concentrates 15 kg of gold bullion were traded.
The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 301,997 MT of different commodities with the total value of $153.7 million were traded.
On this trading floor, more than 108,146 MT of bitumen, 59,368 MT of polymer products, 73,000 MT of VB feed stock as well as 26,500 MT of lube-cut oil, 24,503 MT of chemical products, 8,580 MT of sulfur, 1,265 MT of base oil and slack waxes and 635 MT of insulation were traded.
Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor of IME, 33,034 MT of various commodities worth over $8.5 million were traded. On this trading floor, 32,750 MT of wheat, 50 MT of sugar, 25 MT of rice as well as 209,000 day old chicks were traded by customers.
It is worth noting that during the first week of November, the side market of IME witnessed trading of 148 MT of metal scrap, 25 MT of used locomotive engine oil, 20 MT of polymeric methylene diphenyl diisocyanate and also 1,600 kg of empty barrels.
