Tehran, YJC. Official says that Iran continues to export petrochemical products to Europe.
Secretary
of National Petrochemical Complementary Industries Mohammad Ziar said "Currently,
Iran produces a series of most high-quality petrochemical products of the
world. Despite sanctions, part of the petrochemical products of the country are
exported to Europe, the reason for which lies in the high quality of Iran’s
petrochemical products.”
Ziar
added that the government’s policy is to progress toward incorporating new
technologies into upper and complementary petrochemical industries.
"Therefore,”
he added "with ample raw material, Iran has the ability in long term to deliver
standard, high-quality complementary petrochemical products to the
international market.”
He pointed
out that the rate of interest in petrochemical industries is about 50 percent
and that the original investment will return in two years.
He also
said that the development of complementary industries will eliminate the need
to import raw material for different industries and will contribute to currency
savings.
