Tehran, YJC. Ayatollah Khatami has said that the Supreme Leader is the paragon of moderation and the President-elect has to clarify what he means by moderation.
The Friday Preacher Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami welcomed the President-elect’s concern with moderation and insight last Friday.
He asserted that Rouhani's motto is a sound one, adding "It is expected that the President-elect defines the motto so that it would not be misused by some, like where they interpreted it as legalism.”
The Friday Preacher asserted "[The Supreme Leader] is the paragon of moderation. In politics we test moderation against his positions. Today he says that we must help the elected administration and that one will have gone astray to put a spoke in its wheel.”
