Tehran, YJC. Foreign Ministry has stressed the role of the Egyptian people to decide their affairs.
The Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic
Republic of Iran stressed the country’s concern over current developments in Egypt
and expressed worries that the continuation of tension in that country will
cause more casualties among innocent civilians.
Mehr News Agency reports that emphasizing Iran’s concerns
over regional developments, Abbas Araqchi deemed it necessary to consider the Egyptian
people’s rightful demands and to prevent more killings of the Egyptian citizens.
The Foreign Ministry Spokesman said that it is necessary to
improve national integrity, avoid violence, and preserve awareness against
divisive efforts by enemies in order to come clean of the current crisis.
Seyyed Abbas Araqchi pointed to the Egyptian nation’s
political insight, deeming it an important factor in warding off seditions by
enemies who have never cared for the people.
Araqchi asserted that the Egyptian people are able to solve
their own problems and act in a way to preserve their national interests while
observing the country’s expediency.
