Iran to sign agreements with Asian, European banks on mining investment

TEHRAN, November 8 - Chairman of the Board of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) Mehdi Karbasian said the organization is going to ink agreements with Asian and European banks for investment in mining.

Iran is after cooperation with foreign producers and mining companies, he said, adding, Iranian mines and firms are good opportunities for investment of foreign companies.”

Iran is after receiving $50 billion investment in mining and mineral industries by 2025, he said.

Iran is in talks for producing bauxite in Australia and Brazil and it would attend an international bauxite tender with its Guinea partner SBDT, he noted.
