TEHRAN, November 8 - Chairman of the Board of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) Mehdi Karbasian said the organization is going to ink agreements with Asian and European banks for investment in mining.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “We have signed agreements with South Korea, Austria and Denmark. We are reaching an agreement with other countries such as Germany,” Karbasian said.
Iran is after cooperation with foreign producers and mining companies, he said, adding, Iranian mines and firms are good opportunities for investment of foreign companies.”
Iran is after receiving $50 billion investment in mining and mineral industries by 2025, he said.
Iran is in talks for producing bauxite in Australia and Brazil and it would attend an international bauxite tender with its Guinea partner SBDT, he noted.
