TEHRAN, November 5 - Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami rejected US President Donald Trump’s allegations about Iran’s provision of missiles to Yemeni forces.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “Does anybody ask the US about what do you provide Saudi Arabia with?” he asked.
The US should not blame Iran for anything that happens in Iran, he said, adding the enemy is not unlikely to do such things.
“The enemy uses any opportunity to raise allegations against Iran and we absolutely reject it.”
In similar remarks, on Sunday, the chief commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has dismissed as “baseless” the allegations leveled by Trump about the Islamic Republic’s provision of missiles to Yemeni forces.
“Trump’s claims about providing Yemen with missiles by the Islamic Republic of Iran are baseless,” Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said on Sunday.
