TEHRAN, November 5 - Iran categorically condemned the recent terrorist attack in Syrian Deir Ezzor City, extending condolences to families of victims of the attack.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “Such inhumane and brutal measures of Daesh are clear sign that they have been desperate,” said Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi.
The Saturday bombing targeted the largest refugee gathering in the region, according to Sana. The terrorist reportedly rammed a booby-trapped car nto the crowd before it blew up.
The attack on civilians comes just a day after the Syrian army announced that it had liberated Deir Ezzor from ISIL terrorists.
He further stressed that the end of ISIL is near thanks to the resistance and unity of the Syrian nation and government.
