Tehran, YJC. In his GECF speech, Ahmadinejad has said that buyers of gas must not exceed sellers in benefit.
Speaking in the second Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
said "It is a pity that some come with a record of slavery in their tow and in
their monopolization of political and economic decision-making centers, expose
countries and nations to injustice, poverty, and insecurity.”
He added "Monopolizers would have the world’s mines and energy sources
under their thumb, set the prices in their own interest, and unilaterally deliver
their goods and services with whatever price they please.”
Ahmadinejad then delivered a four-part plan for the regulation of prices
and more effectiveness by the Forum as follows:
1.
To set clear mechanisms for
pricing various gas products
2.
To facilitate the exchange
of technical and executive experience in extraction, refinery, and processing
sections between the members
3.
To improve common
investment and cooperation in exploration and extraction
4.
To set regulations to
provide countries with no fossil fuel with more opportunities
