TEHRAN, November 3 - Iran and Armenia emphasized boosting bilateral parliamentary relations.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Kazem Sajjadi and President of National Assembly of Armenia Ara Babloyan conferred on ways over participation of the two parliaments in activating Iran-Armenia ties in economic, political and cultural fields.
During a meeting in Yerevan, Sajjadi stressed activating parliamentary friendship groups of the two countries and contacts among the commissions to provide appropriate approaches for developing bilateral ties.
Ara Babloyan, for his part, welcomed the suggestion of widening cooperation between the two parliaments and said, “Armenian parliament will play its role in developing bilateral ties between Iran and Armenia.”
He also welcomed Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani’s invitation for visiting Iran, saying that he would make the arrangement for the travel as soon as possible.
