TEHRAN, November 3 -Aer Lingus flight EI592 from Dublin to Madrid has declared an emergency and is diverting to Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport in France, according to Airlive aviation news site.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) -The plane departed at 7:16am and was scheduled to land in Madrid at 10:45am CET.
The flight reportedly declared an emergency over France while descending at a speed of over 4,000 feet per minute.
The diverted flight is due to arrive at Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport at 11:06, according to the Aer Lingus website.
On Thursday, an Aer Lingus flight EI 712 from Cork to London Heathrow made an emergency landing shortly after departure due to smoke reported in the cockpit. All 149 passengers were evacuated when the plane returned to Cork. No one was injured.
