Tehran, YJC. Rahimi says that it will be a relief for US officials to see the Ahmadinejad administration ending.
Speaking in a conference held for the official announcement of the World Investment Report of the country’s foreign investment in 2012, the First Vice President Mohammadreza Rahimi said on Saturday "Our President is today the beloved of nations and people in all continents of the world. He is one who stood steadfast before US excess.”
He added "In the final days of the administration I feel obliged to thank the Minister of Economy, because he managed to schedule the subsidies targeting under heaviest sanctions and he made great success.”
"Hosseini has been the most successful Economy Minister since the revolution. We had a 143 percent growth in foreign investment while carrying out the subsidies plan and were under painful sanctions,” he asserted.
Rahimi believed the growth in foreign investment to be a miracle and added "The investment rate has grown from $1.9 billion in 2007 to $4.87 billion in 2012.”
