Tehran, YJC. Ahmad Khatami says Sheikh Hassan Shehata was killed by Muftis who are quick to issue death fatwas as well as by the Zionist regime.
Speaking in the Grand
Mosque of Qom on Thursday evening, Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami said "There are a
great number of news from Egypt telling of Shiites being killed by Takfiri
groups.”
He added "Sheikh Hassan
Shehata and his followers were in a celebration for the 15th of
Shaban [Arabic month name] when they were surrounded by 2,000 Salafis and were
brutally murdered.”
Khatami believed the
killings to be the result of indoctrinations where the terrorists are made to
believe that they will actually meet the prophet Muhammad if they are killed in
mission.
The Ayatollah said that
there are three groups of people who contribute to such savage acts, the first
being the indoctrinated members who take weapons and enact the murder, second
being the Salafi Muftis who issue death orders, and third the Zionist regime.
