TEHRAN, October 29 - In the wake of Iraqi Army’s clearing the last territories occupied by Daesh terrorists, a group of the terrorists fled into Syria.

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - According to al-Furat, a number of terrorist leaders, leaving their arms, left Iraqi city of al-Qaim and fled into Syria’s Deir ez-Zur.

Accordingly, this group escape is the result of a joint operation of the Iraqi Air Force and the American anti-Daesh coalition done in the framework of al-Qaim liberation.

Intelligence sources report that Daesh terrorists had warned their elements through mosques that their fleeing means exiting ‘bei’ah’ and that they will be severely punished.

Over the few past days, Iraq’s Army has kicked off its operation to clearing off the Iraqi-Syrian border areas, which are the last strongholds of Daesh, from the terrorists.
