TEHRAN, October 28 - Criticizing Arabic countries’ hostile policies, the Emir of Qatar referred to Iran as the only way of supplying food and drug in the time of Qatar’s being besieged.
In an interview with BBC channel, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani elaborated on his besieged country’s resorting to Iran.
Pointing out to Iran-Qatar adjacency, Sheikh Tamim claimed that more than the siege countries of the Persian Gulf, his country has problems with Iran’s foreign policy
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Yet, the Emir stressed that in a time when his country was besieged by the four Persian Gulf’s Arabic countries namely Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, AUE, and Egypt, Iran was the only way to supply Qatar’s food and drug.
He mentioned that his redline is Qatar’s independence and that will not allow any body’s meddling in his country’s affairs.
Earlier, Sheikh Tamim met with the US President Donald Trump in the sidelines of UN General Assembly and said that his country is ready to have talks with the siege countries to resolve the disagreement.
Amid June 2017, the four Arabic countries of Persian Gulf cut off their ties with Qatar under the pretext of Qatar’s support of terrorism and relationship with Iran.
