TEHRAN, October 26 - Iranian Parliament Speaker's Special Advisor on International Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stressed boosting bilateral banking, economic and trade ties between Iran and Serbia.

Iran, Serbia stress developing bilateral tiesTEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - In a meeting with Serbian Ambassador to Iran Dragan Todorovic, Amir-Abdollahian said specialized commissions in the Iranian parliament are ready to take necessary steps as to legislations to speed up bilateral cooperation between Iran and Serbia.

Head of Iran parliamentary friendship group is going to visit Serbia in coming days, he said.

Dragan Todorovic, for his part, said his country supports Iran in fighting against terrorism.

“We are aware that Iran is not supporting terrorism at all,” and actually Iran is the target for terrorists.

He added that Serbian parliament welcomes widening bilateral ties with Iran.

“Iran is an important country and a priority for Serbian foreign policy.”
