TEHRAN, October 22 - Iran and Sri Lanka are going to sign an agreement on legal and judicial fields.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “There are various potential for developing relations between the two countries. I hope that issues like customs would be settled between Iran and Sri Lanka,” said Iranian Minister of Justice Alireza Avaie in a meeting with Sri Lankan ambassador to Iran.
He also said that he is after boosting judicial cooperation with other countries, including signing new agreements.
“I am so happy that the first agreement which is going to be inked is with Sri Lanka,” he noted.
The Sri Lankan ambassador, expressed hope that bilateral ties between the two countries would be expanded further.
Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena is going to visit Iran soon, the ambassador said.
