TEHRAN, October 21 - The Russian Air Force destroyed an entire base filled with several Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham field commanders in the Idlib.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The Russian Air Force destroyed an entire base filled with several Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham field commanders in the Idlib countryside last night after launching several airstrikes near the town of Sarmin.
Russian jets flying out of the Shay’rat Airbase in east Homs began their assault by targeting Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions in the quarries area of eastern Idlib.
According to a military source, the Russian Air Force was specifically using bunker busters in the quarries area to destroy a base that was being used by HTS to conduct a leadership meeting.
Many of the HTS field commanders were killed during the attack, including several emirs of local Idlibi towns.
