Tehran, YJC. Defense Minister says that a space launch base and a number of satellites are to be operational in the days to come.
Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said in an interview with Mehr News Agency that a number of space projects will be operational before the end of the 10th administration. "There are a number of space projects underway which I hope will be operational.”
He stated that the Imam Khomeini space launch base will be completely operational soon and expressed hopes that a number of satellites will be launched as well.
He also said that with the Space Observation Center on record, Iran is already familiar with space projects, but the Imam Khomeini base will provide capacities for launching larger carriers.
The Minister of Defense said that in the near future satellites from Iran and other countries will be launched in Imam Khomeini space launch center.
