TEHRAN, October 12 - Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali-Akbar Salehi said that the country would make the appropriate decision in case the US withdraws from Iran’s 2015 nuclear deal.

Iran says to make appropriate decision in case US quits nuclear dealTEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Breaching the nuclear deal by the US brings about international aftermathes, Salehi said in a meeting with British media, “Iran will make an appropriate decision considering the US administration conduct about this issue.”

He also said that position of European countries and other P5+1 countries to live up to the agreement and oppose views of US president on breaching the nuclear deal is quite important.

Positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran on peaceful use of nuclear energy have been expressed several times in a transparent manner, and Iran’s interpretation from article T, an appendix to the JCPOA, has been also announced, he added.

Salehi said that Iran has always announced that it has not been after nuclear weapons and is seeking only peaceful purpose of nuclear energy.
