TEHRAN, October 10 - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani stressed that the country is resolute to expand ‘friendly ties’ with neighboring countries.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready for providing more technical and engineering services and supporting the private sector to participate in plans on roads, housing, dam and power plants in Armenia. Iranian government is determined to develop cooperation and friendly ties with neighboring countries, including Armenia and does not pose any limitation for the goal,” he said in a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan here in Tehran.
He continued that the two countries can also work closely in energy, transit and industries.
“Boosting bilateral and multilateral relations and cooperation will be important in boosting regional ties,” he said.
Karapetyan, for his part, called for using potential and capabilities of the two countries for maximum development of mutual trade and economic cooperation.
He also called for more presence of Iranian companies and investors in Armenian free zones.
