TEHRAN, October 10 - Head of Iran’s Red Crescent Society Ali-Asghar Peivandi is going to visit Bangladesh to visit Myanmar’s refugees camps and hold talks with the International Committee of the Red Cross officials.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - He is going to be accompanied by a high-ranking delegation in a bid to continue Iran’s Red Crescent’s help to the refugees and monitor distributing Iran’s humanitarian aid.
Senior officials from Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ministry of Health and Red Crescent Society
are accompanying him in the visit.
The Iranian society has so far dispatched two consignment of humanitarian aid for Myanmar’s refugees in Bangladesh, respectively weighting 30 and 40 tons.
