TEHRAN, October 8 - Iran and Afghanistan held the second round of talks on preparing a comprehensive document for mutual strategic cooperation as they met in Kabul.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The talks are underway in the form of two security and water cooperation committees.
The first round of the talks was held few months ago in Tehran during which both Iranian and Afghan negotiators discussed path of the talks and ways to work on key issues.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affair Abbas Araqchi and Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia and Oceania Ebrahim Rahimpour are leading the talks respectively in water and security committees.
The two sides are also discussing cooperation on borders security, fighting terrorism, extremism, narcotics as well as cooperation on Helmand River, Heray Rud River and Lake Hamun.
