Tehran, YJC. Sajadi says that people moved away from the Principalist party because Ahmadinejad went to extremes.
Kamaleddin
Sajadi, Secretary General of the Islamic Society of Employees, said in an
interview with Mehr News Agency "The reasons for the Principalist defeat must
be investigated. But the most important one was Ahmadinejad’s administrative
plans, because there were extremes in them which lead people away to another candidate.”
He believed
that the multiplicity of Principalist candidates was another reason for their
defeat and demanded a change of modus operandi in the Principalist camp.
He asserted
"Anyway, revisions must be made in Principalist’s strategies and they must
think more of unity and avoid disagreement.”
He also
pointed to the hypothetic next cabinet and hoped that members would be chosen
based on their capabilities and regardless of what political party they belong
to.
