Tehran, YJC. Rohani says he is proud that he could get the Board of Governors agree to the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear activities.
Hojatoleslam Hassan Rohani appeared on a question and answer
session on the national TV on Wednesday evening. The main topics he talked about
were his economic plans in accordance to the Development Perspective, the 44th
Article, and top state documents.
The former Secretary of the National Security Council
pointed to Iran’s good offices during his incumbency and the fact that he
managed to get the United Nations’ Board of Governors agree to the peaceful
nature of Iran’s nuclear activities, asserting "That was the biggest damage to
America’s reputation.”
Rohani also provided comments on the 44th Article
and said "The 20-year Perspective Document was set for consideration by the
Management Organization during the Reform administration after a long period of
inconclusive debate between the right and the left.”
He stated that the country is currently behind the plan
defined by the Development Perspective Document and asserted that instead of
words, actions must be taken to realize the plans.
"Article 44 was not only intended to relegate the ownership
of factories and industry, but besides ownership, management was also to be
given over to people,” he added.
