TEHRAN, September 27 - South African Ambassador to Iran William Max Philman Whitehead said his country is willing to work with southern Iranian Province of Hormozgan in maritime economy.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “Hormozgan has many coastal and maritime borders. We can have good economic interactions because of this similarity,” he said in a meeting with deputy of Hormozgan governor for political, security and social issues.
He said South Africa can use Hormozgan’s experts in maritime and industrial fields, through providing training on growing aquatic animals, fisheries and ship building.
The envoy then called Iran’s southern Abbas Port, a ‘key trade corridor’, adding, the two countries can work closely in agriculture and fisheries.
