Tehran, YJC. The President has said that dealing with the nuclear issue is none of the government’s business and “they themselves know how to handle it.”
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony for
a Tehran railway project, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said "Some enemy has thrown a
stone on the nation’s path. It must be passed.”
"I do not like to talk about the
nuclear negotiations. They themselves are responsible and know what to do. It is
none of my business and I make no interference, but I believe that Iran must be
built and that capacities for building Iran are unlimited. That is something
which needs care and devotion.”
This is the first time that the Iranian
President withdraws the government from the nuclear issue to lay the
responsibility on others.
Meanwhile figures such as Aliakbar
Velayati, consultant to the Supreme Leader, have stated in electoral debates on
TV that the nuclear negotiations have been a failure.
