Tehran, YJC. Spokesman for Rohani’s campaign staff has said that if their candidate wins the elections they will compromise nothing about extremist Principalists.

Vice President of the Center for Strategic Studies and Spokesman for Hassan Rohani’s campaign staff said "With support and consultation from Reform elders, Aref and Rohani will make coalition for a robust competition and to gain the presidency despite Principalists.”

Mohammadbaqer Nobakht said on Saturday evening in a meeting in Qazvin "Although with all the heat they could bring to the elections the great Hashemi and Khatami could not make it to the electoral campaigns, Rohani can be a good choice to fill in the gap for the fans.”

Tacitly conveying that Rohani will be the final choice for the Reform movement in the upcoming elections, Nobakht added "Rohani is the fruit of Khatami and Hashemi’s struggles still on the scene.”

"We are here to bring back after 8 years those forces who were driven out with slanders. But if the power is put in our hands, we will not take revenge. We will use the qualified, moderate Principalists who have the capacity to work with the Reform movement,” he asserted.

Meanwhile he asserted that they do not mean to expose the Principalists to the same injustice as was to befall the Reformists.

"There will be no mercy, though,” he asserted "for the extremist Principalists, because they lack logic and we, using wisdom and management, cannot work with them. But we will invite and tap the qualified and will set forth wisdom as well as sense as our principals,” he added.

Nobakht pointed out "Five resolutions were issued against us and these guys said they were pieces of paper. They brought big trouble on the people. If you are brave enough you must apologize to the people that you have wasted the countries interests.”
