TEHRAN, September 10 - US is trying to weasel countries into suspicion of Iran’s compliance with the nuclear deal in attempt to ‘rip up’ the deal.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - International Law and foreign affairs specialist Masud Zamani said US’ withdrawal from the nuclear deal will be costly for them, thus they push to make it a ‘dead letter.’
“President Donald Trump is eager to prove Iran is in violation of the nuclear deal, employing various techniques in pursuit of his goal; there have even been reports that a task force has been arranged for the sole purpose of finding evidence that proves Iran is in repudiation of the Nuclear deal, similar to what former President George Bush had done in 2003 with Iraq,” said the expert.
He continued “by prompting illusive and irrational requests such as the inspection of Iran’s military sites, the US wishes to undermine the nuclear deal and turn members of the deal against Iran, for they know very well that Iran would never permit it.”
Zamani also added “The US knows that leaving the deal bluntly will come back to bite them, and that it would put them in contrast to the EU policies, so they’ve set out to seek a less blatant and indirect procedure to disintegrate the deal.”
