TEHRAN, August 28 - Iran’s FM Spokesman stresses that the country is ready to confront any situation against JCPOA with all of necessary measures planned.

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Pointing out to the US’s putting AEIA under pressure to inspect Iran’s military installations, Iranian FM Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi said that the US’s avarice is not something new.

The Americans, he added, time and again have tried to prevent Iran from making benefit of JCPOA deal (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) through their making sabotage in the implementation of the deal and exercising propaganda.

“Raising some untrue and marginal issues, they (the Americans) keep the world’s great banks including European, Asian, and other world areas banks in sort of suspension and worry in order for they can not cooperate or continue to cooperate with Iran in economic area” Ghasemi said.

The Spokesman added “yet, fortunately we are in a condition in which over the past months governments and companies, despite all of these acts of sabotage and propaganda, cooperate with Iran as a stable and trusted country with great potentials”.

Ghasemi noted that Iran vigilantly tries to give no excuse to those who oppose the JCPOA out of malice, whether in the US or other areas of the world, and that the country is ready for facing any situation in this respect.

Iran and the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council - the United States, France, Britain, Russia and China plus Germany - signed the JCPOA on July 14, 2015 and started implementing it on January 16, 2016.

Under the nuclear agreement, Iran undertook to put limitations on its nuclear program in exchange for the removal of nuclear-related sanctions against Tehran.
