Speaking
in an interview over his presidential programs, Mohammad Qarazi said in answer
to a question regarding sanctions and the nuclear program "The nuclear issue is
a technical and political one. Poor Khatami administration got a good spanking
for it and the Ahmadinejad admin also got a nice one. Whoever opens or shuts
down a power plant will be given a spanking. The Americans are mean. We must
pressure them a bit and make them back down.”
Asked
what objection he would have to Hashemi’s administration of which he himself
was a member, he said "I have had quarrels with all admins, because I believe
that inflation cripples development. Whenever I saw Hashemi, Mousavi, or
Khatami I quarreled with them. In the Hashemi administration development was
accompanied by inflation and Reformists muddied his reputation.”
Asked
about his administrational programs, he answered "The program is that if I get
a good vote, which would be curious, I will spend from the incomes.”
