TEHRAN, August 13, YJC - Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali-Akbar Salehi stressed pressing ahead with nuclear industry activities.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “My most important priority regarding the AEOI is pressing ahead with nuclear industry industries powerfully,” he said after the cabinet meeting on Sunday.
He then said that Iran has signed a deal on construction a nuclear hospital whose finance volume has grown by 95 percent. “The project will be a mega project in West Asia in case it will be accomplished.”
Salehi continued the organization is also going to focus on exploration, extraction, propulsion, research and development, new generation centrifuges and radiopharmaceuticals.
Salehi said that 60 million euros investment has been made on radiopharmaceuticals, expressing hope that the country will become the biggest radiopharmaceuticals producer in West Asia by the next 3-4 years.
