Tehran, YJC. Mohsen Rezaei says that he will make the US say what there is to discuss and what Iran has to do in order to prevent a waste of time.

Mohsen Rezaei appeared on the national TV on Saturday evening to discuss his presidential plans. He said "The US kill time in negotiations. They wrap their intentions in gaudy words. We will leave them at a crossroads; they must define the topics of negotiations and what there is for Iran’s circumstances.”

Mohsen Rezaei then condemned what has been done in the past 30 years, believing that the country has not been able to build powerful economic, political, and security grounds.

"Today Iran is one of the most powerful countries in the region, but we still have problems producing our own meat,” he asserted, "We must be realistic instead of wailing away our sorrows. We must reduce the imbalance that has built up so far. "

"The reality is that the government and the nation are not dining on the same table. The government sells oil and gives the money to its employees and builds dams and bridges. People farm and do other things to make money. We will coalesce the two tables so that the government gets a feel of what problems people have,” he stated.

He added that the country’s economy is held up by only one pillar, and it is clear what happens if someone like the US shakes it. "We will support it with 10 pillars,” he said.

Rezaei also said that the country has paid a lot in the past 34 years on foreign relations and it needs to avoid extremes.

He added "The first thing I will do is to launch the South-west Asian Union with regional powers. The same has happened in Europe and Asia. This will facilitate progress.”
