TEHRAN, August 10, YJC - Iran’s Envoy to Iraq Iraj Masjedi stressed reiterated that Tehran can have big share in the Iraqi market.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - "All the Iraqi ethnic groups are willing to have interaction and cooperation with Iranian industry men and traders," Masjedi said, speaking in Iran-Iraq joint chamber of commerce in Baghdad.
He then referred to the volume of trade exchanges between the two sides reaching $8 billion, and said, "Institutionalization of political and cultural relations with Iraq is the secret of success in this country's big market."
"Despite having various problems, Iran can have the final say in Iraq's market," Masjedi underscored.
Early August, Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi in a phone conversation with Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani stressed continuous interaction with Tehran in areas of economy and trade.
"Iran and Iraq can enlargebilateral tis in economic and trade fields," al-Abadi said during the phone talk.
Meantime, the Iraqi prime minister, thanked Iran for supporting and backing Iraqi government and people in battle against terrorism.
