TEHRAN, August 7, YJC - The Republic of Congo is after establishing joint chamber of commerce with Iran.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Congo’s Deputy Prime Minister Léonard She Okitundu in a meeting with Head of Iran Chamber of Commerce Gholam-Hossein Shafei called for Iran’s technical and engineering services units to participate in developing economic infrastructure of the country.
Léonard She Okitundu who has visited Iran for swearing-in ceremony of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani called for holding more exhibitions by Iranian companies in Congo to introduce Iranian products and capabilities.
“Establishing joint chamber of commerce between Iran and Congo could prove effective in developing the level of bilateral ties,” he said.
Shafei, for his part, said Congo’s geographical position facilitates Iran’s presence in marks of western Africa.
He also said Iranian companies are ready to meet Congo’s needs in hydro-electricity power plants, mining, agriculture, food stuff and chemicals.
