TEHRAN, August 5, YJC - Iran’s Parliament Spokesman says nuclear weapon is harmful for every country and for the world’s peace and security.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Visiting the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of North Korea Kim Yong-nam, Iranian Parliament Spokesman Ali Larijani said that a chaotic world is not of benefit for any country and that the maintenance of global peace and security is the most significant achievement of governments.
He asserted to Kim, “your resistance against the US bullying is appreciated and I hope that peace and security be maintained in the world as soon as possible, and that those countries in pursuit of dominance over other countries recognize that they will achieve nothing this way”.
Kim Yong-nam also on his part expressed his happiness of the meeting saying “ time passes and history changes yet our common enemy, the US, remains ever unchanged and continues its bullying”.
“We want to increase our of relations with Iran specially in Non-Aligned Movement as well as international level, because these relations are in favor of the two countries’ national interests and I try to have serious negotiations with Islamic Republic’s officials in this trip on these issues” he noted.
The North Korean top official emphasized that countries build their destiny with reliance on their own power and that no government should submit to the avarice of other authoritarian governments, for it has been proved as a fact that the US has invaded those countries that are weak militarily.
“we are in pursuit of peace but do not withdraw even a step from our national interest, and as long as the US does not abandon its hostile policy and continues its threats, then we encounter it more harshly”, he remarked.
At the end, Kim Yong-nam stressed that if the US and other authoritarian countries are not prevented form their avarice, then it will spread out like fire in other countries.
