TEHRAN, August 3, YJC - Russia said Iran’s satellite-carrying missile launch into space does not violate the nuclear deal.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Russia's new ambassador to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said Russia does not consider the launch to be a violation of the nuclear agreement with Iran, the TASS news agency reported.
Iran on July 27 launched its most advanced satellite-carrying rocket to date, the "Simorgh."
He further said that the launch deals with other matters not directly mentioned in the nuclear deal.
The P5+1 countries have recently sent a letter to the UN Security Council, claiming that the missile launch by Iran is violation of Resolution 2231 issued to back Iran’s nuclear deal.
