Head of the Scientific Society for Infertility of Iran said
that with 60 centers for infertility, "Iran is the first country in the Middle
East to have applied modern treatments to infertility, ranking high on the
global stage,” Mehr News Agency reports.
Speaking in a news conference in the sidelines of the 19th
Conference on Infertility and Treatment, Dr. Mohammad Parsanejad said that the conference
will be held each year in one of the cities with infertility treatment centers.
He added that specialists from three fields of nursing, embryology,
and urology as well as nursing and midwifery practitioners will attend the conference.
He also said that an ethics panel consisting of lawyers,
religious jurists, and psychologists will discuss different aspects of
fertility treatments in the sidelines of the conference.
