TEHRAN, July 26, YJC - Spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Behrouz Kamalvandi met with Chief Executive Officer of Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation Alexey Likhachev on Tuesday to study the development of cooperation.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - During the meeting, held in the presence of Iran’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation Mehdi Sanai, the two sides examined the roadmap for nuclear cooperation.
The parties also discussed the latest developments in the construction of phase 2 and 3 of Bushehr nuclear power plant by the Russian Rosatom.
Kamalvandi extended gratitude to Russia for its cooperation in Joint Commission of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and expressed the hope that all sides would commit their obligations enshrined in the JCPOA.
Kamalvandi also had a meeting with Deputy Chief Executive Officer for International Relations at ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation Nikolai Spassky and Deputy Finance Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Storchak on Tuesday.
