TEHRAN, YJC.-- An analyst of political affairs says that relations with the US have been pursued in the past 3 administrations, believing Hooshang Amirahmadi to be an invention of the Khatami administration which went to Ahmadinejad.
Pirooz Mojtahedzadeh in interview with a local news website_ affiliated to the presidential candidate Qalibaf_ criticized the foreign policy of the 9th and 10th administrations as well as Mashaei’s statement on friendship between Iran and the Israeli nation, adding "When someone from the team of the government says we are friends with the people of Israel, this incongruity in speech and policy causes a lot of consequences which we have suffered for long.”
He also said "Although the Qatari Sheikh’s enmity toward our country is clear to everyone, in the 9th and 10th administrations we had to see the same policy adopted as that of the previous terms.”
"After
the détente policy by the 9th and 10th administrations
regarding Israel, the same policy was followed which caused us great harm in
the Persian Gulf region,” he added.
Providing comments on Hooshang Amirahmadi, he said "Hooshang Amirahmadi was invented during the Khatami administration and went to Ahmadinejad. In addition to the 9th and 10th administrations and their Foreign Ministers, agents from the Reform and Construction administrations also tried much to hold talks with the US. Covert and semi-covert talks as well as lies, which had never happened, were among these actions. One of the ministers had said that he had been to the US for negotiations with the US government, but the US government announced that no negotiations had been held.”
He believed that there have been relations with secret organizations in the US, hoping that the next President will adopt approaches that will cause the country no harm.
