TEHRAN, June 30, YJC - Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said the country welcomes foreign investment.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “Iran’s 6th development-plan includes fields which pave the way for foreign investment. Iranian parliament supports this investment,” he said in a meeting with senior managers of South Korean large companies in Seoul.
He also said foreign investment can be made in oil, gas, road development, transportation, environment, clean energies, petrochemical, industries and auto-manufacturing.
Larijani continued the parliament has paved the way for foreign investment in mining as well, adding Iran as a country with 70 million population is a good potential for venture.
South Korean government has provided 8 billion euro facilities to support companies investing in Iran, he said, adding banking ties between the two countries have been facilitated.
