Tehran, YJC. A member of the Assembly of Experts has said that since the Intelligence Minister’s information is never baseless, what Moslehi has lately said about Hashemi is precise.
Ayatollah Hassan Mamdouhi said in interview with Nedaye Enghelab in
answer to a question whether Hashemi would be qualified
for presidency "Mr.
Moslehi’s information is accurate and he believes that Hashemi has had a hand
in the 09 sedition. He does not say something just like that.”
He added "Detailed information on Hashemi’s role in the 09 sedition is probably sent by the Ministry of intelligence to the Assembly of Experts and we must wait to see the council’s verdict on him.”
Regarding allegations by Hashemi’s Director of Office and his son to the effect that Hahsemi was called from the Leader’s office, he added "The Leader explicitly said that he would not tell anyone to run or not. It was groundless whoever said that.”
Mamdouhi also provided comments on Ahmadinejad’s company with Mashaei as the latter went to the Ministry of State for candidacy sign-up as "Ahmadinejad has grown lawless recently and he does whatever he wishes.”
