TEHRAN, June 25, YJC - The president of the 30th International Film Festival for Children and Youth announced the jury of the 7th scriptwriting competition for professionals.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - According to the information center of the 30th International Film Festival for Children and Youth, Alireza Rezadad, the president of the festival, appoints Mahdi Organi, Homayoun Asa’adian, Kambozia Partovi, Fereydoun Amouzadeh Khalili and Mahdi Sajedeh Chi as the jury members of the 7th scriptwriting competition for professionals.
Mahdi Organi
Born in 1953, Khoramshahr, Mahdi Organi has been a member of the planning council of Iran’s broadcasting since 1980. He is also the president of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults Publication. Organi has been a member of Farabi Cinema Foundation and the head of channel 2 as well.
Homayoun Asa’adian
Born in 1958, Isfahan, Homayoun Asa’adian studied cinema at the dramatic arts faculty of Tehran University. He started his career by “The High School” in 1986 as the photographer. He directed his own first film, “The Sting” in 1994. “Gold and Copper”, “Kissing the Moon-Like Face” and “A Special Day” are among his famous works.
Kambozia Partovi
Born in 1955, Rasht, Partovi made his first film, “The Glasses”, for channel 2. He started his career in cinema by “The Fish” then “Golnar”, “Transit Cafe”, “The Curtain” and “The Truck”. He won the awards of Berlin and Adelaide film festivals for “The Fish”, as well as Mar del Plata and Fipresci film festivals for “The Transit Cafe”. He is also the scriptwriter of “Shirak” by Darioush Mehrjooei, “The Cycle”, “The Night” and “The Unrestful Streets”.
Fereydoun Amouzadeh Khalili
Born in 1959, Semnan, Fereydoun Amouzadeh Khalili established many popular magazines namely “Do-Charkehh”, “Aftabgardan”, “Chel Cheragh” etc. He’s been the head of the literature association and the children and young adults department of Howzeh Honari; the manager of numerous cultural events like Taraneh, Sabz etc. as well as the editor of the first int’l children literature conference named “Children’s World, A Holly World”. He is also the author of more than 30 books including “3 Month Off”, “Days of Exams”, “The Old Sword” etc.
Mahdi Sajadeh Chi
Born in 1961, Tehran, Mahdi Sajadeh Chi has started scriptwriting since 1989 by “Patal and Small Dreams”. He wrote the scripts of “The Invisible Man”, “Seven Stones”, “The Rue of the Game” etc. He was also the scriptwriting consultant of “The Glass Agency” and “Minou Tower”.
