Iran’s Zarif in Tunisia

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - In the last leg of his trip to north of Africa, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Tunisia and visit the country’s president Baji Qaid Al-Sebsi.

Also welcoming Zarif and congratulating Rouhani’s being re-elected as Iran’s president, Al-sebsi expressed his sympathies for the recent Tehran terrorist attacks. He, further called Iran a historical and civilized country and announced his country’s readiness to extend relations with Iran.

Zarif, also, for his part said that Iran sees no boundaries for expanding its relations with Tunisia, and that Islamic Republic is ready to share its experiences in different areas, with the country.

Iran’s FM also visited his Tunisian counterpart Khemaies Jhinaoui.

Welcoming Zarif, Jhinaoui stressed reviewing ways to extend bilateral ties between the two countries. He, further, announced Tunisia’s readiness collaboration with Iran in all areas.

The Iranian FM for his part suggested that constant political negotiations be developed between the two countries.
