TEHRAN, June 19, YJC - A Dutch company has announced that the world’s first flying car will hit the market next year.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Pal-V company says the new car is a three-wheeled vehicle which can carry two people and will be certified for use on the roads and in the skies. Drivers will need both a driving license and a pilot's license. The car costs about 600,000 dollars.
The company insists the cross-breed vehicle is not a helicopter, in which the blades are powered by an engine. It is a gyroplane, in which the blades are powered by the wind.
The flying car can fly 400 to 500 kilometers at an altitude of up to 3,500 meters. The company says It will produce between 50 and 100 vehicles in the first year, before ramping up to "quite a few hundred" in the next years.
